ABOUT
We are a boutique hotel situated in a quiet neighborhood of Bangued, Abra (CAR) in the Philippines. We offer clean, secluded, modern style rooms in wide landscaped tropical gardens showing a great variety of different flowers and plants. The hotel is surrounded by high walls with onsite parking offering privacy. Original art works created by the German painter Theo Strutz are displayed in each room. All furniture is handmade in Abra. We also host events such as weddings, birthday parties and reunions. Guests have access to our swimming pool. Guests can enjoy our koi pond and relax with the soothing sounds of the splashing water. The hotel adheres to a non-smoking policy.
All rooms, the reception, and the outdoor restaurant are wheelchair accessible.
Strutz Art Garden Resort is a business registered with DTI and is DOT accredited.
Our guest rooms are furnished with beautiful narra wood furniture hand crafted in the mountains of Abra. The walls are decorated with paintings by Theo Strutz, a professional German artist. In front of each room is a large shady patio.

Bangued and Abra Festivals
The Bangued and Abra Festivals are each year in March. Watch colourful parades, see exciting dance performances, listen to open air concerts, or stroll around fairs.

Vigan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is well known for its cobblestone streets and buildings that fuse Spanish and oriental design.In May 2015, Vigan City was officially recognized as one of the New7Wonders Cities. Vigan is 62km or about 90minutes drive away.
